CEDS 2021 Survey

Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD) is seeking your input in order for our organization to better serve your community's needs. The following survey takes 10 minutes to complete and your feedback is essential to us! The data collected in this survey will be used to update our regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).

CEDS Explained

A CEDS is an ‘economic roadmap’ used to strengthen and diversify the regional economy of southeast Nebraska. This document is designed to bring together both the public and private sectors. A CEDS is required in order to qualify the region for future funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA).

Any interested citizen, elected official, or community leader is invited to participate in this strategic planning activity if you live or work in the following counties: Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Polk, Richardson, Saline, Saunders, Seward, Thayer, or York. The CEDS survey is applicable to all member communities within the economic development district. The City of Lincoln is not a member and will not be included in the CEDS survey.

The survey is available on our Facebook page. Paper copies can be found in your local courthouse, senior centers, and city halls. Paper copies are also available upon request.  This survey will remain open through June 15, 2021.  Follow this link to complete the survey online.
